What we physically remove
- Desks, L-shapes and benching systems
- Cubicle panels, work surfaces and overhead storage
- Task chairs, guest seating and lounge furniture
- Conference tables, including large multi-piece tops
- Lateral and vertical filing cabinets (emptied or with contents scheduled for separate handling)
- Shelving, storage cabinets and mobile pedestals
- Breakroom tables, chairs and loose fixtures
- Boxes, décor, whiteboards and miscellaneous furnishings
Furniture removal vs. full decommissioning — where we fit
"Decommissioning" means different things to different facilities teams. Our part is the physical clear-out: furniture, workstations and loose contents, disassembled as needed, staged and loaded out across as many truckloads as the space requires.
Several related trades are usually handled by separate vendors, and we say so up front so nothing falls through the gap in your project plan:
- IT asset recovery and certified data destruction — coordinate with an ITAD vendor before we start
- Structured cabling removal above ceilings — a low-voltage contractor
- Electrical disconnection of powered workstations — a licensed electrician must make them safe first
- Lease restoration work (patching, flooring, paint) — your general contractor

How an Irving office job is planned
Many managed office buildings in Las Colinas and along SH 114, O'Connor and MacArthur set their own move-out rules. Before quoting a multi-floor job, we want to know: which elevator is reserved for freight, whether it needs padding, the dock or loading zone and its time windows, parking limits for a box truck, and whether work must happen after business hours.
On a site walk we count stations, note what is staying (furniture that conveys to the next tenant or moves to your new space gets tagged and left alone), and build a load-out sequence. Larger floors are often done in phases: storage rooms and empty wings first, occupied areas last.
Truckload planning
A standard office workstation, once broken down, takes up surprisingly little room; filing cabinets and conference tops take up more than people expect. We estimate by truckload after the walkthrough and confirm the price in writing before work starts — including how many trips the job needs.
Handled separately
- Data destruction or IT asset disposition
- Disconnecting hard-wired electrical
- Removing anchored or built-in millwork unless agreed in advance
Questions we hear
Can you work nights or weekends?+
Many Las Colinas buildings require move-outs outside business hours. Tell us your building's rules and we'll schedule the crew to match where possible.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?+
Ask when you book. We'll confirm what documentation is available for your property manager before the job is scheduled.
Do you need everything emptied first?+
No. Desk drawers with loose office supplies are fine. Confidential paper and IT equipment should be handled by the appropriate vendor before we arrive.
How fast can a full floor be cleared?+
It depends on station count, elevator access and how many trucks the job needs. We'll give a realistic timeline after the site walk rather than guessing.
